Organizations are designed. Every role, relationship, decision process and communication pattern exists because someone, at some point, made a design choice. The CirclesNDots Design Framework explores those choices through a collection of interconnected design principles that together describe a scalable, collaborative approach to organizational design.

Rather than offering a single model or methodology, the framework examines the fundamental design elements that shape how people work together. Each page explores one principle. Collectively, they form a coherent way of thinking about organizations, teams and collaboration.

Using the Framework
While each design principle can be explored independently, they are most powerful when viewed as part of a larger system. The design principles are intentionally interconnected. As you move through them, you’ll begin to see how changes in one design element influence many others.
